Project: Strip out of the Dell EMF 3 (Production Warehouse) Plant in Raheen, Business Park, Limerick.
Project Manager: PM Group
Our Role:
The project involved the complete internal strip out of a 30,000sqm production area which included approximately 2,000 tonnes of metal, the bulk of which contained: redundant mechanical equipment, mechanical services, electrical services, structural platforms and redundant rooms. Some of the internal strip out work was carried out in the close vicinity of existing live mechanical and electrical services which needed to be maintained throughout the demolition schedule. Metal arising during the internal strip out was as much as practicably possible segregated at the Dell facility prior to being transported & removed to our facility in Limerick. Personnel separated the material into ferrous & non-ferrous and further so into each specific grade. Any items deemed too big or oversized for shipping were processed further to allow for its safe loading & transport.
“Aggressive six -week schedule for the completion of the works- the demolition works were completed within the time scale requested in a highly satisfactory manner” – PM Group
